• Describe plans to celebrate special occasions.
• Describe what people do: buy, eat, dance, etc, in special days.

Possible tasks:

• Choose a destination to travel this December, and check what festivals they have there. Plan your trip accordingly.
• Display some ornaments, food and description of some holidays. Students have to match them with a specific celebrationand describe the country or region.

Functional language:

• We're going to plan a big wedding.
• They are going to travel to San Andres for their honeymoon.
• What are you doing for New Year's eve?
• We are travelling to Europe in December.
• In my house, we have a little Christmas tree with a lot of ornaments; we usually drink punch, which is an egg-based beverage with rum, we enjoy singing Christmas carols.
